What it look like??? I've decided to start updating my Blogspot with footage from my day to day life. In the studio (Gemstar Pro)I was experimenting around with Sequoia's sound trying to find a signature lane for her.

Sequoia is the third artist I've taken interest in and have extended Career Crookz Records contracts to. She is currently working on records and appearing on upcoming Mixtape Release from myself and Mook Milli (Career Crookz Artist). I'm going to do separate blog post for all of my artist real soon.

itz officially that time!!! OCTOBER is here and were closing up the 1st mixtape of the year!

My everlasting perfectionist syndrome & the schedule conflict ion between me & my DJ (@DJKI of the Powerhouse DJ's - Follow him on twitter) has caused several delays on the the Tape. I actually appreciate the fanz flooding my Facebook inbox, wall & my twitter page with inquires about it. *WELCOME 2 THE SLUMZ* will be out Mid-October!!!! (Amen). I'm going to be back later this week to Release the Cover Art for the Tape and maybe some teaser music.

Also I've sat down with the Label (Career Crookz b**ches!!!) and Blak Byrd Music and we have agreed that the effectiveness & visibility that a official retail release could provide is not something that would be in our best interest to ignore. So before we go into this huge album next year we've got a few more mixtape releases and a EP. Yes yes yes I said it....an EP. Tentatively titled "Damage Control" through my current joint label venture. Its going to be available through iTunes, Amazon, Welcome2theSlumz.com, and in All music store outlets. We haven't decided which Singles or features will appear on which project but we have quite a bit of my music to choose from.

There are quite few producers I have to have on these Projects including Kajmir Royale, Vybez Beatz, Fedarro, Jacoby P, and a few other usual producer collaborators. At any rate I guarantee that my fanz will be really pleased with the music I have coming......stay tuned!!!

It has been several months since I've actually blogged...it is very shameful for me to actually call myself a blogger. With my discovery of the convenient social network know as twitter accessible right from my blackberry phone...its been tough to find a moment at home.

At any rate I have a plethora of new information
& updates to share with the Slumz World!!!!

I've been hard at work on the "Main Event" album...and being the perfectionist that I am its taking longer than imaged. This is my first album and I want to make a mark on Hip-Hop as well as contribute to revitalizing the commercial and financial force behind rap music. So everyone who has been supporting me through out this long journey as well as all the soon to be supporters and fans you have a classic album to look forward to in 2010.

In the Mean time I've been making a lot of power moves which include fine tuning the Career Crookz Records roster & launching a R&B Counter Part (sister label) Star Stru-Q Entertainment

As far as Career Crookz Records we signed a few artist this year...along with Original Artist Chase Dolla$...Mook G Star, Tavi Buttons and Sequoia all jointed the ranks. We collectively are working on the "Rich Get Richer" Compilation Album to release shortly after my solo album so make sure you guys check for that!!!!

The young upstart label Star Stru-Q Entertainment to be ran by Patrice Hicks is in the process of signing Singer/Song-Writer/Dancer "Jody Jaz" as well as R&B Sensation "Azari Love"

As for Tai Slumz the Artist while I'm prepping the Main Event I'm putting together "Now Showin..." Mixtape which is compilation of freestyles, remixes, and original material themed after a Hollywood movie idea. "Now Showin..." is scheduled to be available for free download via various websites Feb 4Th, 2010

I'm working on my next single which should be out for download (via Myspace.com, imeem.com and of course thru this blogsite) and is about to explode leak on the radio with in a week...so DJ's holla for the exclusive mixes!!!

Outside of being a full time Recording Artist and Running my Independent Label. I wear alot of hats one being a Trendsetta (had to Squeeze my promotional mentions in lol) and one of my bars on the records is above. And it dawned on me that the game is in need of such a record and such a artist. The overly commonly used word "SWAG" is closely tied into the idea behind "Trendsetta". Im fresh back in town from Miami enjoying some R&R for Memorial Day Wknd...Slizzy and Sonny Johnson shut down South Beach (Shout out to Red Cafe & Shakedown Fam, Loso & Street Fam, Un Kasa & Dipset, DJ Putta, Justice, DJ Drama & AMG and anyone else I fuckz with and ran into). All in all it was a good gettaway I actually got a chance to meet a Cape Verdian hottie!!! yall niggas need to catch up lol ( Holla at me Red).

I linked up with Coby P out in the Lou (for those untraveled folk thats St. Louis lol) and he has delivered two certified hit records for the Main Event Album (Career Crookz Records) in the forms of the swag anthem "Trendsetta" feat Federro & Red Cafe and Captivating Club Smash "Take You Home" feat. its been over a month since we've held this organized gathering to discuss the considerably significant happenings of my day to day life style. Well itz back to the Lifestyles of the Hood - Rich and the Famous. It is clear that Career Crookz Records and runs DC. Shout out to Shakedown Records ( Bullet & Red Cafe!!!). New Record on the way "Trendsetta" Remix featuring RED CAFE. But yeah everything is everything....we've been taking over the club as usually...but now we getting ready to make the jump to ATL then South Beach! So May 22th thru the 27th you can catch Slizzy Surfin it (I'm Wavy on em). So in order to prepare for this massive take over of Miami I've decided to finally finish my tattoo sleeves on my arms and invest in a new chain (Shout out to Kaye of the District that's my Jeweler!!!).
